Projects /An Ubhal as Àirde

A commission through Highland Print Studio to create artwork for a new cancer treatment facility in Raigmore Hospital, Inverness.

The hospital staff had been granted permission to use the Runrig song An Ubhal as Àirde and the brief was to create artwork as inspirational as the lyrics. This lead to the words themselves forming the main shapes of the design, which was cut in linoleum, then inked and bonded on to the corridor walls.

It can be seen in Zone 2 of the hospital.
