Nine poignant photographic portraits showing Cromarty residents who lived in the Ross-shire coastal town during the Second World War.
The images show contemporary portraits of the octogenarians interwoven with photographs and artefacts depicting their lives and loved ones from the 1940’s.
Reflecting the status of the village hall as a building of the people, the two metre tall banners hang in Cromarty’s Victoria Hall. Smaller framed portraits are housed in the Hall’s Meeting Room.
